Spectators: 7104 (Terracing: 5399, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 50) Mosmota AFC's Alfredo Chago started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Alfredo Chago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Ostargi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, El Cucu Team's Jimeno Otsando seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jimeno Otsando the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of El Cucu Team protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jimeno Otsando had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. El Cucu Team:s Leo Ostargi showed great skill when he stopped Gonzalo Cayo:s penalty. El Cucu Team's Leo Ostargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Chago in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Leonides Botello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Pacifico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horacio Sengrat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Pacifico having to interfere. Enzo Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Adrio in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Remigio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mosmota AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Cucu Team the free kick. After 32 played minutes Mosmota AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Remigio. Geronimo Eusko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enzo Pacifico. Mosmota AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. El Cucu Team's Leonides Botello got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Mosmota AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Sengrat came free, but Enzo Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Cucu Team's Leo Ostargi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save El Cucu Team from getting a goal against them. Denis Rufo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Ostargi having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 47th minute when Leonides Botello elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonides Botello to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Mosmota AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Cayo. Geronimo Eusko struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Enzo Pacifico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Cucu Team. After a defensive mix-up in Mosmota AFC's zone, Leonides Botello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Pacifico came out of the goal and Leonides Botello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 64 in the game by Leonides Botello from a close distance when the talented Enzo Pacifico managed to make a qualified save. Mosmota AFC's players were relieved. If Leonides Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Birila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Enzo Pacifico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mosmota AFC's Blas Claude got a free kick in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in El Cucu Team's zone, Blas Claude stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Ostargi came out of the goal and Blas Claude tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Chago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Ostargi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to El Cucu Team getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Lorenzo Gustau hit a great ball. When Denis Rufo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Mosmota AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Rufo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 84 minutes, Leonides Botello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Cucu Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Botello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Denis Rufo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Rufo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leo Ostargi having to make a save. If Alfredo Chago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mosmota AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though El Cucu Team had controlled the match.
