Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Melquiades Madaleno took the kick off in the first half of the match. Silvestre Guillelmus kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Mechita's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Jakes came free, but Americo Ramone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, El Cucu Team's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Senio came free, but Leo Ostargi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Birila during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to El Cucu Team getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Marco Birila hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Constantino Ted in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Ostargi saved El Cucu Team from getting behind. Mechita's Americo Ramone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Jakes in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Guillermo Jakes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Cucu Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Jakes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guillermo Jakes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Ramone having to interfere. Rigoberto Lop kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Guillermo Jakes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Melquiades Madaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leo Ostargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Madaleno, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The audience was convinced that Melquiades Madaleno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Ostargi was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Melquiades Madaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Ostargi having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

If Guillermo Jakes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Constantino Ted got free in front of the goal in the 57th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Leo Ostargi was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillermo Jakes in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Americo Ramone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mechita's Americo Ramone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Jakes in the 65th minute of play. Leo Ostargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Madaleno, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute Melquiades Madaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Ostargi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melquiades Madaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Leo Ostargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Benvido during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mechita getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ricardo Benvido hit a great ball. Americo Ramone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Botello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Cucu Team's Leo Ostargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Madaleno in the 87th minute of play. El Cucu Team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Melquiades Madaleno scored to the left of an out of position Leo Ostargi, making the score, 1-1.
