Godofredo Louis's late challenge caught a JuanZa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godofredo Louis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lugano FC's Godofredo Louis got a free kick in the 15th minute. Filomeno Sesuldo charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Sesuldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lugano FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Filomeno Sesuldo hit a great ball. Godofredo Louis hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Jesus Ibañez came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Lugano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesus Ibañez couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the game, Aristides Quinteros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Haroldo Fernendo. Aristides Quinteros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Godofredo Louis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. In the 37th match minute, Lugano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Louis to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 38 minutes, Jesus Ibañez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Ibañez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 51 minutes, Enrique Lorencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JuanZa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Lorencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haroldo Fernendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Ibañez, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Feliberto Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Fernendo having to interfere. If Jesus Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesus Ibañez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroldo Fernendo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Filomeno Sesuldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Sesuldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filomeno Truylos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Jesus Ibañez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Ibañez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haroldo Fernendo came out of the goal and Feliberto Elorri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lugano FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
