Spectators: 6605 (Terracing: 5002, Seating: 1502, VIP seats: 101) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Enrique Lorencio made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the game, Jacinto Panfilo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JuanZa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tartagal the free kick. Urbano Ignazio shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Haroldo Fernendo came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Tartagal's Robustiano Rodas. But to his dismay, Robustiano Rodas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Jairo Azevedo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tartagal's Gerardo Laffitte. Gerardo Laffitte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerardo Laffitte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Lorencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Robustiano Rodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hipolito Nastasio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Haroldo Fernendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robustiano Rodas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Pacifico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Casimiro Peio in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tartagal's Urbano Ignazio. Urbano Ignazio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Haroldo Fernendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Fernendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Indalecio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, JuanZa FC's Jairo Azevedo got a free kick in the 39th minute. Urbano Ignazio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Haroldo Fernendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dario Normando came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Tartagal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Normando couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robustiano Rodas to make the kick off. Eulalio Indalecio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, JuanZa FC's goalkeeper Haroldo Fernendo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eulalio Indalecio. Haroldo Fernendo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robustiano Rodas went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute, Dario Normando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haroldo Fernendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Indalecio in the 60th minute of play. Tartagal's Hipolito Nastasio got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Robustiano Rodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jairo Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JuanZa FC's protests and gave Jairo Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Jairo Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Normando in the 71st minute of play forced JuanZa FC's goalkeeper Haroldo Fernendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eulalio Indalecio came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Tartagal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Indalecio couldn't finish the play. After 74 minutes of play, Tartagal's Arnulfo Ixona made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Fernendo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Tartagal's zone, Enrique Lorencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Laffitte came out of the goal and Enrique Lorencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Apolo Mannie came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the JuanZa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Mannie couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, JuanZa FC's Haroldo Fernendo got control of the ball when Eulalio Indalecio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tartagal's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
