The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 23rd minute, Tartagal's Robustiano Rodas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teodoro Urko. Teodoro Urko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hipolito Nastasio got free with Teodoro Urko in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to New obanta fc getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Agustin Urbes hit a great ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Dario Normando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tartagal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Normando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hipolito Nastasio in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teodoro Urko, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Urbano Ignazio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Urko having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robustiano Rodas got free with Teodoro Urko in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. New obanta fc's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dario Normando 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justino Celino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eulalio Indalecio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Robustiano Rodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Hipolito Nastasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Urko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Indalecio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eulalio Indalecio struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Teodoro Urko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tartagal. Tartagal's Gerardo Laffitte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Celino in the 73rd minute of play. With a little luck, Tartagal's Gerardo Laffitte got control of the ball when Agustin Urbes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerardo Laffitte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustin Urbes in the 75th minute. Eulalio Indalecio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Urko having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Robustiano Rodas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. A wasted opportunity for Tartagal. 84 minutes into the match, Tartagal's Eulalio Indalecio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodoro Urko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Eulalio Indalecio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Teodoro Urko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute Dario Normando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Urko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Urko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Indalecio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Tartagal were the better team. Tartagal's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
