The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cayetano Garci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Thomas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Benjamin Nuxila made a huge save. In the 11th minute, Soconcho FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Niceto Piearres fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Soconcho FC's Enzo Ibon got a free kick in the 14th minute. A hard shot 25 in the game by Cayetano Garci from a close distance when the talented Benjamin Nuxila managed to make a qualified save. Soconcho FC's players were relieved. Niceto Piearres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Nuxila having to interfere. If Niceto Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cayetano Garci in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Nuxila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benjamin Nuxila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Piearres in the 42nd minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximiliano Gerazan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enzo Ibon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonel Su came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Soconcho FC's Enzo Ibon. But to his dismay, Enzo Ibon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Benjamin Nuxila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Thomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Belgrano de Cba! An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Gerazan in the 64th minute of play forced Belgrano de Cba's goalkeeper Leonel Su to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68th play minutes Cayetano Garci shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Benjamin Nuxila and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enzo Thomas in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Nuxila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enzo Ibon during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Soconcho FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Enzo Ibon hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cayetano Garci in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Nuxila saved Soconcho FC from getting behind. After 89 minutes, Severiano Chano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belgrano de Cba and the Soconcho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Arnaldo Manny put in a rough tackle. It was beautiful to see Belgrano de Cba's Teodoro Jeraldo in action when he in the 94th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Niceto Piearres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgrano de Cba's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Piearres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Nuxila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
