An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Arotza in the 14th minute of play forced Alpatacal's goalkeeper Desiderio Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Alpatacal's Santo Telmo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leandro Felipo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Desiderio Faro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leandro Felipo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
