When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, Club Atletico Talleres's Constantino Bero got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Benjamin Nuxila. Camilo Rufo's late challenge caught a Soconcho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Rufo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 98th minute, Camilo Rufo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atletico Talleres's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
