The referee ignored Alpatacal's protests and gave Julio Guilabertus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, one of Alpatacal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alpatacal. The referee gave Soconcho FC a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lino Esdras, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alpatacal's Desiderio Faro. 0-1. If Enzo Ibon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Soconcho FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Albano Leoncio scored to the left of an out of position Benjamin Nuxila, making the score, 1-1. Albano Leoncio struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Benjamin Nuxila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alpatacal. When Enzo Ibon came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Soconcho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Ibon couldn't finish the play. When Gaston Semeno fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After 42 minutes of play Soconcho FC's David Martxot was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Enzo Ibon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Faro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.
