Schiffner's Fabio Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Quintyn in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Chajarí's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Reno came free, but Manuel Tomi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Chajarí's goalkeeper Manuel Tomi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Ermano. After 30 minutes, Gavino Jerold mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schiffner and the Chajarí players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 54 minutes, Aquiles Quintyn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chajarí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Quintyn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aquiles Quintyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Schiffner's Fabio Furman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Schiffner from getting a goal against them. Gavino Jerold got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Schiffner's Gavino Jerold got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the game, Chajarí's Feliberto Abeitia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Furman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Samuel Ermano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Tomi having to interfere. Fabio Furman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Quintyn in the 97th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chajarí walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
