The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Paraná IV's Eustacio Refugio got a free kick in the 27th minute. After some careless play in the Paraná IV defense, Feliberto Abeitia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascual Hever. The Paraná IV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascual Hever should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Paraná IV's Pascual Hever got control of the ball when Feliberto Abeitia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aquiles Quintyn struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Pascual Hever didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chajarí. After 35 minutes, Ivan Henrico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraná IV and the Chajarí players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvaro Evarado during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chajarí's Alvaro Evarado got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Aquiles Quintyn made the kick off in the second half. Pascual Hever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Chajarí's Roque Dominix to fire away a dangerous shot which Pascual Hever despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Osvaldo Aritza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Tomi having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Angel Blasi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraná IV and the Chajarí players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Paraná IV getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Angel Blasi hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, one of Paraná IV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Chajarí's Manuel Tomi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Chajarí from getting a goal against them. Pascual Hever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Paublo in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Quintyn in the 79th minute of play forced Paraná IV's goalkeeper Pascual Hever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
