An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Medero in the 4th minute of play forced Chajarí's goalkeeper Manuel Tomi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximino Fortun hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Manuel Tomi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Quintyn in the 28th minute of play forced Club Atlético José Mármol's goalkeeper Florencio Fraco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Feliberto Abeitia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chajarí's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético José Mármol the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Chajarí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Abeitia to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Tomi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Oliverio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florencio Fraco came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Chajarí's Feliberto Abeitia. But to his dismay, Feliberto Abeitia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Club Atlético José Mármol's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aquiles Quintyn 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. When Aquiles Quintyn came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Chajarí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Quintyn couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Rigoberto Medero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute Rigoberto Medero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Tomi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rigoberto Medero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Alvaro Evarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basilio Oliverio struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Manuel Tomi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético José Mármol. 82 minutes into the match, Club Atlético José Mármol's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Abeitia came free, but Florencio Fraco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulino Kaxen kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute of the match Mariano Herensuge shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Tomi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Manuel Tomi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Medero in the 91st minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Atlético José Mármol players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chajarí.
