Spectators: 7185 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) Roque Cordairo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Montxo in the 7th minute of play forced Deportivo Llorente's goalkeeper Nicasio Dei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Deportivo Llorente's Nemesio Elivareo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narciso Hever made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riachuelo FC's goalkeeper Narciso Hever, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgard Montxo might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicasio Dei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgard Montxo ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Igor Restu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riachuelo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Restu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Dei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Riachuelo FC's Edgard Montxo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicasio Dei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Igor Restu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgard Montxos short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Nicasio Dei to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Edgard Montxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Edgard Montxo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Riachuelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Montxo couldn't finish the play. Igor Restu struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Nicasio Dei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riachuelo FC. Riachuelo FC's Edgard Montxo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Edgard Montxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Restu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 45 played minutes Deportivo Llorente got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Gartxot. If Edgard Montxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 53rd minute, Nemesio Elivareo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Llorente's Ciriaco Lauro got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 63rd minute Edgard Montxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riachuelo FC's Narciso Hever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Elivareo in the 71st minute of play. After 74 played minutes Riachuelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Frederico. In the 82nd minute of the match, Roque Cordairo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Narciso Hever saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Llorente's Benedicto Berenguer got a free kick in the 84th minute. Igor Restu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute Edgard Montxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riachuelo FC's Jorge Bikendi got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Edgard Montxo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Deportivo Llorente's Nicasio Dei. Nicasio Dei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle went the supporters of Deportivo Llorente were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Riachuelo FC side.
