Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edgard Montxo got the match started through his kick off. Edgard Montxo in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ermegildo Salvator, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lisandro Iratxo took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narciso Hever. Narciso Hever dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Narciso Hever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Havier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Montxo might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ermegildo Salvator. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgard Montxo ran back to his position shaking his head. Igor Restu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Riachuelo FC defense, Candido Quintana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Narciso Hever. The Riachuelo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narciso Hever should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Honorio Dubardo got a free kick in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Igor Restu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Salvator came out of the goal and Igor Restu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgard Montxo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Ermegildo Salvator skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Riachuelo FC's Edgard Montxo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Augusto Frederico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Racing Club's Ermegildo Salvator got control of the ball when Edgard Montxo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgard Montxo struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ermegildo Salvator didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riachuelo FC. Edgard Montxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 46 minutes into the match, Riachuelo FC's Edgard Montxo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermegildo Salvator narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ermegildo Salvator stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard Montxo's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Liberto made a kick off. Rodrigo Liberto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Narciso Hever came out and tried to block the shot, but Rodrigo Liberto slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Riachuelo FC's Edgard Montxo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermegildo Salvator narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Montxo in the 61st minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Ermegildo Salvator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Liberto in the 64th minute of play forced Riachuelo FC's goalkeeper Narciso Hever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Edgardo Bihar got a free kick in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Liberto in the 69th minute of play forced Riachuelo FC's goalkeeper Narciso Hever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Sugoi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Hector Orlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riachuelo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club the free kick. A collision led to Riachuelo FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Hector Orlan hit a great ball. Narciso Hever made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Candido Quintana sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute of the match Honorio Dubardo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narciso Hever showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Edgard Montxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riachuelo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Montxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Liberto hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Edgard Montxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Augusto Frederico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narciso Hever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Liberto in the 94th minute of play. After 95 minutes, Lisandro Havier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Club and the Riachuelo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Havier. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Riachuelo FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
