Rolando Bento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Pasqual in the 11th minute of the match. Zacarias Pasqual blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Bento having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zacarias Pasqual in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Bento saved Telpérion from getting behind. Denis Oihan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Joseph having to interfere. In the 30th minute of the match Fulgencio Caradaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Joseph showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Domingo Cresconio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Bento having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Telpérion got a freekick which was hit by Damian Cordaro. If Domingo Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. Zacarias Pasqual's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Bento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Denis Oihan struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Bernardo Joseph didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Telpérion. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zacarias Pasqual to make the kick off. After recieving a nice pass, Doping Positivo's Victor Francis tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Domingo Cresconio came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Doping Positivo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Cresconio couldn't finish the play. If Higinio Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Higinio Poncio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domingo Cresconio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Bento having to interfere. Rigoberto Eguntsenti charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Domingo Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
