After having played for 29 minutes, Samuel Ixona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GRACIAS DIEGO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Ixona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as GRACIAS DIEGO's Samuel Ixona slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnulfo Kimetz. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. In the 45th minute Santos Eder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Clementi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cipriano Distiratsu made a kick off. GRACIAS DIEGO's Santo Txilar has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 52nd minute. Arnulfo Kimetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Ixona in the 54th minute of play. Samuel Ixona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Ixona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Arnulfo Kimetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Distiratsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Clementi having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cipriano Distiratsu in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eleuterio Clementi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnulfo Kimetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Ixona in the 82nd minute of play. Honorato Cristofor kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. A hard shot by Albino Pietro from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Eleuterio Clementi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
