Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ramiro Matai started the match with the kick off. Andres Lauaxetas short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Eleuterio Clementi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nestor Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Matai in the 8th minute of play. Eleuterio Clementi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arnulfo Pitin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. When Samuel Ixona came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the GRACIAS DIEGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Ixona couldn't finish the play. Arnulfo Pitin struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Eleuterio Clementi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aicuña. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnulfo Pitin to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Lauaxeta in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eleuterio Clementi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santo Txilar's late challenge caught a Aicuña's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santo Txilar helped the player get up and apologised. Santo Txilar kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 58thth minute of the game Arnulfo Pitin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GRACIAS DIEGO's Eleuterio Clementi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eleuterio Clementi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute, Remigio Txilar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Lauaxeta in the 97th minute of play forced GRACIAS DIEGO's goalkeeper Eleuterio Clementi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aicuña's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
