Lázaro Bide kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Cecilio Galoer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnulfo Kimetz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience was convinced that Ariel Firmin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnulfo Kimetz was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, El yeso de Van de Kerkhof's goalkeeper Florencio Gaufred had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Eder. Santos Eder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Florencio Gaufred made a huge save. If Cecilio Galoer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Kimetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Galoer in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 47th minute Cipriano Distiratsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half El yeso de Van de Kerkhof were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Arnulfo Kimetz came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by El yeso de Van de Kerkhof's Derek Marsden. But to his dismay, Derek Marsden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, El yeso de Van de Kerkhof's Romulo Felipillo got a free kick in the 60th minute. El yeso de Van de Kerkhof's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
