That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Derek Marsden managed to get in a good position for a shot. El yeso de Van de Kerkhof's supporters rose to their feet, but Derek Marsden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Bartoleme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domingos Bartoleme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Derek Marsden's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After 12 played minutes La Reserva got a freekick which was hit by Leo Afonso. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Derek Marsden in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingos Bartoleme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isaias Dominic charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaias Dominic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Isaias Dominic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derek Marsden in the 39th minute of play forced La Reserva's goalkeeper Domingos Bartoleme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Firmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Epifanio Sancho to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, La Reserva's Epifanio Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Florencio Gaufred. Florencio Gaufred yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. When Cecilio Galoer came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the El yeso de Van de Kerkhof fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Galoer couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, El yeso de Van de Kerkhof's Ermegildo Eriz got a free kick in the 60th minute. Isaias Dominic's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florencio Gaufred read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Florencio Gaufred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of La Reserva booed when El yeso de Van de Kerkhof was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Eriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. El yeso de Van de Kerkhof made a substitution. Efrain Lauaxeta replaced Derek Marsden. The supporters of La Reserva booed when El yeso de Van de Kerkhof was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Eriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Epifanio Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Dominic kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. With his leg Florencio Gaufred managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when La Reserva's Isaias Dominic fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Domingos Bartoleme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Firmin in the 85th minute of the match. Florencio Gaufred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Sancho in the 87th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Salvador Camerino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Florencio Gaufred quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 96 minutes into the match, La Reserva's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Lauaxeta came free, but Domingos Bartoleme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El yeso de Van de Kerkhof fully deserved thier win.
