The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Osvaldo Franco might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauricio Orlandus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvaldo Franco ran back to his position shaking his head. Mauricio Orlandus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Iaki showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. When William Örn came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Piñalitos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Örn couldn't finish the play. Fabian Czerniejewski scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andres Kauldi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the CA La Juanita defense, Fabian Czerniejewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andres Kauldi. The CA La Juanita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres Kauldi should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, CA La Juanita's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Czerniejewski came free, but Andres Kauldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Kauldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Örn, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When William Örn came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Piñalitos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Örn couldn't finish the play. William Örn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 minutes of play, Piñalitos AFC's Marcelino Satordi made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andres Kauldi was left in no man's land by his defense there!
The wind increased when Fabian Czerniejewski made the kick off in the second half. Marcelino Satordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CA La Juanita's Andres Kauldi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save CA La Juanita from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Fabian Czerniejewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 played minutes, CA La Juanita's Tobias Harriet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mauricio Orlandus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CA La Juanita reached it. 60 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Franco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Mauricio Orlandus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. William Örn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andres Kauldi came out and tried to block the shot, but William Örn slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 65th minute. Marcelino Satordi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andres Kauldi having to make a save. 73 minutes into the match, CA La Juanita's goal looked a bit too open when William Örn came free, but Andres Kauldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When William Örn came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Piñalitos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Örn couldn't finish the play. If Fabian Czerniejewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Orlandus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Iaki in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Juan Iaki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Orlandus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CA La Juanita's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Guillermo Tano scored to the left of an out of position Andres Kauldi, making the score, 2-5. Mauricio Orlandus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Indar in the 92nd minute of play. Fabian Czerniejewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 96 in the game by Fabian Czerniejewski from a close distance when the talented Andres Kauldi managed to make a qualified save. CA La Juanita's players were relieved. When the match was over Piñalitos AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CA La Juanita throughout the match.
