Ancón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Birila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rene Raphael's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcial Eneas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matias Ralondo got free with Tomas Endira in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matias Abechuco was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Ancón's Matias Abechuco got a free kick in the 67th minute. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Matias Ralondo took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Tomas Endira to make any attempt to save it. The Ezeiza FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
