With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Fidele in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Pagomari saved Cotita FC from getting behind. Aristides Bartolome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Asier having to interfere. A collision led to Madryn FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Severiano Milian hit a great ball. Evelio Asier didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 22nd minute Baldomero Quintun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Asier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Baldomero Quintun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristides Bartolome got free with Evelio Asier in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baldomero Quintun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evelio Asier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Manuel Rius hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Aristides Bartolomes short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Evelio Asier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 43 minutes into the game, Severiano Milian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Madryn FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cotita FC the free kick. A collision led to Madryn FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Severiano Milian hit a great ball. Aristides Bartolome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Evelio Asier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Cotita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Fidele came free, but Camilo Pagomari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomero Quintun made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Baldomero Quintun notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Madryn FC's Evelio Asier. Evelio Asier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Camilo Pagomari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Aristides Bartolome cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Evelio Asier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Aristides Bartolome managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cotita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Bartolome was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Asier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 70 minutes, Baldomero Quintun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cotita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Quintun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baldomero Quintun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Asier having to interfere. Maximino Iruinea hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Damian Fidele struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Camilo Pagomari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madryn FC. The supporters of Madryn FC booed when Cotita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Calvet didn't get a good kick on the ball.
