The VITESSE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Aquilino Pacifico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Camilo Pagomari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hermengildo Bartoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Asteri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Pagomari having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anacleto Asteri in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Pagomari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabian Astigar's late challenge caught a VITESSE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cotita FC's Camilo Pagomari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Cotita FC from getting a goal against them. VITESSE's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
