In the 25th minute, Sebastian Hanni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 27 minutes of play, Hernando's Evelio Fernandez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaudencio Oriche was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Celso Medardo got free with Domingo Gaskon in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Hernando's zone, Elias Egoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Gaskon came out of the goal and Elias Egoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingo Gaskon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celso Medardo in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Elias Egoitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingo Gaskon was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 41 minutes into the match, Hernando's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Emmanuel came free, but Domingo Gaskon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingo Gaskon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Egoitz in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Egoitz in the 44th minute of play forced Hernando's goalkeeper Domingo Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Fernandez in the 47th minute of play forced Cocucha FC's goalkeeper Gaudencio Oriche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernando's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cocucha FC the free kick. A collision led to Hernando getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Esteve Valery hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Celso Medardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Gaskon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The audience was convinced that Celso Medardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingo Gaskon was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Elias Egoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingo Gaskon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Hernando's Domingo Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Emmanuel in the 59th minute of play. After 59 minutes of play Hernando's Ermegildo Raulo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Hernando's Ermegildo Raulo got a free kick in the 60th minute. Domingo Gaskon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Egoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Gaskon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Egoitz in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Egoitz in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingo Gaskon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hernando's Evelio Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, Cocucha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Emmanuel to maneuver through the defense.
