Rosario Futbol Club's Cesar Quintan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Rosario Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Chelco's Honorio Timo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cesar Quintan. That made the score 1-1 after 15 minutes of play. Eleuterio Pacho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Hipolito Sarracino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Sergi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Quintan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Timo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Raimundo Sergi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hipolito Sarracino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. If Eleuterio Pacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hipolito Sarracino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Pacho in the 39th minute of the match. Honorio Timo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Raimundo Sergi made the kick off in the second half. Abel Martxelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Quintan having to interfere. Honorio Timo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Cesar Quintan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Futbol Club's zone, Honorio Timo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Quintan came out of the goal and Honorio Timo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 59 played minutes Chelco got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Ioritz. Bernardino Gipuzkoa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Chelco were furious when Carolo Domingues was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chelco! Eleuterio Pacho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hipolito Sarracino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Raimundo Sergi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Sarracino having to interfere. Hipolito Sarracino acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 85th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bernardino Gipuzkoa. Abel Martxelin struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Cesar Quintan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelco. Abel Martxelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
