Ermegildo Theobald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Llope, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Ermegildo Quilino was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rodrigo Corderall. Paolo Arlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th minute, Potrero's Paolo Arlo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ermegildo Quilino. Ermegildo Quilino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Ermegildo Theobald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Aztore in the 40th minute of the match. Jeronimo Aztore took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermegildo Theobald. Ermegildo Theobald dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.

The wind increased when Mauro Llope made the kick off in the second half. Ermegildo Theobald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Llope, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Potrero's Paolo Arlo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermegildo Quilino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Leones AFC's zone, Silvio Rio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Quilino came out of the goal and Silvio Rio tried to chip the ball over his head. Potrero's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Arlo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Quilino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ermegildo Theobald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Llope in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Leones AFC's zone, Paolo Arlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Quilino came out of the goal and Paolo Arlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermegildo Theobald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Llope in the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Aztore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Ermegildo Theobald was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ermegildo Theobald made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeronimo Aztore in the 82nd minute. Mauro Llope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Theobald having to interfere. The supporters of Potrero booed when Leones AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Crescencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Leones AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Leones AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
