After a rather tough play, Potrero's Alberto Tomi got a free kick in the 10th minute. Raimundo Sergi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 14 minutes of play, Rosario Futbol Club's Eleuterio Pacho made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermegildo Theobald was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cesar Quintan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Rio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paolo Arlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cesar Quintan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dionisio Vincente during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dionisio Vincente hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Arlo in the 40th minute of play forced Rosario Futbol Club's goalkeeper Cesar Quintan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alberto Tomi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. The supporters of Rosario Futbol Club booed when Potrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tomi didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Sergi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Raimundo Sergi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ermegildo Theobald was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute, Raimundo Sergi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raimundo Sergi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Melquiades Loi ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 75 in the game by Silvio Rio from a close distance when the talented Cesar Quintan managed to make a qualified save. Rosario Futbol Club's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfredo Virila during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes Rosario Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Virila. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Silvio Rio sped through Rosario Futbol Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cesar Quintan. Bernardino Gipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Raimundo Sergi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Theobald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Rio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Eleuterio Pacho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermegildo Theobald was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Rosario Futbol Club's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
