Ricardo Pes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Hipolito Sarracino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hipolito Sarracino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Pes in the 15th minute of play. Ricardo Pes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Hipolito Sarracino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nicolas Moise took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipolito Sarracino. Hipolito Sarracino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Hipolito Sarracino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Pes's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 30th match minute, Chelco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Domingues to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Pes made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelco's goalkeeper Hipolito Sarracino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Chelco's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Delfino came free, but Hipolito Sarracino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Laureano Eyague was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ELMASGRANDE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelco the free kick. ELMASGRANDE walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
