The Hernando fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingo Gaskon should have stopped the shot. Godfredo Maureo struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Domingo Gaskon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ELMASGRANDE. Ermegildo Raulo's late challenge caught a ELMASGRANDE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermegildo Raulo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Ermegildo Raulo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Ricardo Pes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Gaskon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Nicolas Moise came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the ELMASGRANDE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Moise couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the game, ELMASGRANDE's Ricardo Pes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingo Gaskon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Domingo Gaskon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Moise in the 38th minute of the match. Domingo Gaskon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Pes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Pes took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingo Gaskon. Domingo Gaskon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Pes in the 47th minute of play forced Hernando's goalkeeper Domingo Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Hernando players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ELMASGRANDE were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Ricardo Pes made the kick off in the second half. Fausto Restu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Alfonso Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Moise received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Domingo Gaskon came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicolas Moise slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 58th minute. When Evelio Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hernando's protests and gave Evelio Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. Hernando's Domingo Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Moise in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, ELMASGRANDE's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Lander came free, but Alfonso Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ELMASGRANDE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Lastur should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Moise in the 87th minute of play forced Hernando's goalkeeper Domingo Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
