Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Honorio Timo got the match started through his kick off. Ciriaco Ioritz hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Ermegildo Theobald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Martxelin in the 11th minute of the match. Abel Martxelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Theobald having to interfere. In the 19th minute Ramiro Igon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Theobald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Silvio Rio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chelco's Hipolito Sarracino. Hipolito Sarracino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hipolito Sarracino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tomi in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Honorio Timo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute Paolo Arlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Sarracino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Chelco got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Sazon. Abel Martxelin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ermegildo Theobald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Abel Martxelin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Martxelin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Honorio Timo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paolo Arlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hipolito Sarracino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Martxelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Theobald having to interfere. The supporters of Chelco booed when Potrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Loi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Silvio Rio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Igon might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ermegildo Theobald. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramiro Igon ran back to his position shaking his head. Ermegildo Theobald made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Abel Martxelin sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Rio in the 90th minute of play forced Chelco's goalkeeper Hipolito Sarracino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Arlo took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipolito Sarracino. Hipolito Sarracino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Potrero were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chelco for a fine match.
