When Pablo Panpili fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NOT AFRAID's protests and gave Pablo Panpili a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to NOT AFRAID getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Pablo Panpili hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Astor Casado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Raimundo Gitano, passed just outside the right post. In the 13th minute of the match Ovidio Amaya sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raimundo Gitano skillfully saved the ball. Los Tilos FC's Arturo Mingo got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to NOT AFRAID getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Santiago Gorbea hit a great ball. Norberto Gurutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, NOT AFRAID's Raimundo Gitano got control of the ball when Arturo Mingo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arturo Mingo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Raimundo Gitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Gitano stood somewhat misplaced when Arturo Mingo came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. Gaston Henry struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Norberto Gurutz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NOT AFRAID. Cayetano Tome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Norberto Gurutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Gurutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Henry in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Astor Casado to make the kick off. Arturo Mingo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Cayetano Tome reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Norberto Gurutz. The goal made the score 1-1. When NOT AFRAID's Pablo Panpili in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. NOT AFRAID's Raimundo Gitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Casado in the 77th minute of play. Gaston Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Gurutz having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, NOT AFRAID's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Mingo came free, but Raimundo Gitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Astor Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Astor Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Tilos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Casado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
