After 19 played minutes Chajarí FC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Atarrabi. Severiano Perico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Gitano having to interfere. A collision led to NOT AFRAID getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Albano Romero hit a great ball. With a little luck, Chajarí FC's Guaberto Nel got control of the ball when Gaston Henry tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chajarí FC's Guaberto Nel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Tome in the 34th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Salvador Atarrabi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Gitano was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Eliseo Mateus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Raimundo Gitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the match Fidel Figueroa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raimundo Gitano skillfully saved the ball. In the 48thth minute of the game Salvador Atarrabi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NOT AFRAID's Raimundo Gitano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvador Atarrabi made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Salvador Atarrabi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chajarí FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Atarrabi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Gitano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseo Mateus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Raimundo Gitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Gitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Regis in the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chajarí FC's Rafael Tabby got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Chajarí FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Leonides Regis hit a great ball. Salvador Atarrabi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raimundo Gitano having to make a save. The supporters of Chajarí FC booed when NOT AFRAID was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes NOT AFRAID got a freekick which was hit by Julio Tirso. Raimundo Gitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Atarrabi in the 77th minute of the match. With a little luck, NOT AFRAID's Raimundo Gitano got control of the ball when Eliseo Mateus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonides Regis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Chajarí FC's Salvador Atarrabi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raimundo Gitano. That made the score 1-1 after 86 minutes of play. Guaberto Nel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Tome in the 94th minute of play.
