In the 4th minute Gonzalo Giraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Idacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Bonadona hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Chacras AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Omero came free, but Braulio Xabier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chacras AFC's zone, Samuel Omero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Xabier came out of the goal and Samuel Omero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute Samuel Omero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Xabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Omero in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braulio Xabier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, Chacras AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Omero came free, but Braulio Xabier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleuterio Txatxu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Braulio Xabier having to make a save. Bernardino Unax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Idacio having to interfere. Marcial Izotz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Modesto Idacio. Animalandia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Modesto Idacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Giraldo in the 36th minute of the match. Ildefonso Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Braulio Xabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Llope hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44thth minute of the game Samuel Omero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chacras AFC's Braulio Xabier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Animalandia's Modesto Idacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Unax in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardino Unax made a kick off. Chacras AFC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Animalandia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcial Izotz took the corner. Marcial Izotz made a great header on Chacras AFC's corner, it was just that Animalandia's Modesto Idacio managed to reach the ball for a save. Braulio Xabier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Txatxu in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Eleuterio Txatxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Samuel Omero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleuterio Txatxu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Eleuterio Txatxu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Braulio Xabier having to make a save. When Samuel Omero came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Animalandia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Omero couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Omero in the 72nd minute of play forced Chacras AFC's goalkeeper Braulio Xabier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eleuterio Txatxu in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Braulio Xabier saved Chacras AFC from getting behind. Braulio Xabier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Omero went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Samuel Omero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Xabier having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Bonifacio Delfino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacras AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Delfino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonzalo Giraldo had several of the Animalandia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Modesto Idacio as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 90 minutes, Denis Bernard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Animalandia and the Chacras AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Gonzalo Giraldo came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Chacras AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Giraldo couldn't finish the play. Bernardino Unax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Idacio having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
