Felipe Theodore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Simon Lain made a huge save. In the 16th minute Igor Kimetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Ebardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Kimetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Ebardo having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Metán's Luis Guillem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Lain narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Felipe Theodore dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Simon Lain, 1-0. Metán's Alejo Ebardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Kimetz in the 33rd minute of play. Igor Kimetz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejo Ebardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Cestos y Canastas's Simon Lain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Guillem in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Arsenio Larra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cestos y Canastas's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsenio Larra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Ebardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alejo Ebardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Kimetz, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Guillem to strike the kick off in the second half. Cestos y Canastas's Simon Lain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Guillem in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cestos y Canastas's Jeremias Emeterio got a free kick in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cestos y Canastas's zone, Baltasar Pio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Lain came out of the goal and Baltasar Pio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute Igor Kimetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Ebardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fermin Gutierrez kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. A hard shot by Fermin Gutierrez from long distance, 63 minutes into the match, got Alejo Ebardo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Arsenio Larra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Alejo Ebardo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alejo Ebardo made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Arsenio Larra sent off a good shot on target. If Arsenio Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Kimetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nemesio Chus kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Arsenio Larra might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejo Ebardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arsenio Larra ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd match minute, Metán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Chus to maneuver through the defense. Alejo Ebardo made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Arsenio Larra sent off a good shot on target. Arsenio Larra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Ebardo having to interfere. Arsenio Larra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Metán players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
