Isidro Nesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Cordareo having to interfere. Ramiro Claris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jose Aztore made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guido Ciceron in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Aztore saved El Litoral from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Guido Ciceron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ramiro Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Guido Ciceron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Sociedad de VDP's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Ciceron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Aztore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ramiro Claris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jose Aztore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute Guido Ciceron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Aztore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute of the match Norberto Oton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Aztore skillfully saved the ball. After 93 minutes, Antonio Corderun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Litoral and the Real Sociedad de VDP players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to El Litoral getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Antonio Corderun hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Real Sociedad de VDP's Guido Ciceron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jose Aztore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. El Litoral's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
