The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eleuterio Txatxu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Olayo made a huge save. In the 13th minute Ildefonso Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Olayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bernabe Jakobe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Idacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Montrelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aaron Sesuldo fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corazzi's protests and gave Aaron Sesuldo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Animalandia booed when Corazzi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Sesuldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes Animalandia got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Txatxu. After having played for 37 minutes, Claudio Montrelle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corazzi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Montrelle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Bernabe Jakobe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corazzi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Modesto Idacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Montrelle in the 45th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Corazzi's zone, Eleuterio Txatxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Olayo came out of the goal and Eleuterio Txatxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuel Omero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Modesto Idacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Montrelle in the 62nd minute of play. Rodrigo Olayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Omero in the 67th minute of the match. Bernabe Jakobe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Modesto Idacio came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernabe Jakobe slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 74th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Animalandia's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Montrelle came free, but Modesto Idacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Claudio Montrelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Samuel Omero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Animalandia's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Omero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Olayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alejo Claus hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Olayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Omero in the 94th minute of play. Corazzi's Aaron Sesuldo got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Aaron Sesuldo off the ground. After a rather tough play, Corazzi's Aaron Sesuldo got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the match was over Corazzi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Animalandia throughout the match.
