In the 12thth minute of the game Narciso Ellande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metán's Alejo Ebardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidro Nesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alejo Ebardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Metán's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Ellande came free, but Alejo Ebardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of El Litoral booed when Metán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Chus didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciso Ellande was the one to do the kick off. The score was now 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Metán's zone, Isidro Nesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Ebardo came out of the goal and Isidro Nesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Metán players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
