An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Lucio Frederico got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Claudio Montrelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermengildo Chico came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Corazzi's Dario Ubarna. But to his dismay, Dario Ubarna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horacio Llorian during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Llorian. Hermengildo Chico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Montrelle's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. If Bernabe Jakobe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Celino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hermengildo Chico. Manchester United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
