Jose Aztore was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Luis Guillem capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luis Guillem really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Alejo Ebardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Ellande in the 24th minute of the match. Segundo Otsoko's late challenge caught a Metán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Segundo Otsoko helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, El Litoral's Segundo Otsoko got a free kick in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in El Litoral's zone, Luis Guillem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Aztore came out of the goal and Luis Guillem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Felipe Theodore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. Metán's Alejo Ebardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Ellande in the 38th minute of play. Adan Steven charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adan Steven the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Metán getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Adan Steven hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Metán's Silvano Cucao got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute of the match Gualterio Gilabert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejo Ebardo skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Narciso Ellande made a kick off. Adan Steven hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Isidro Nesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejo Ebardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Otsoko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Adan Steven was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. In the 62nd minute, one of Metán:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Metán. Isidro Nesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Ebardo having to interfere. The supporters of El Litoral booed when Metán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Cucao didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Litoral's Jose Aztore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Theodore in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Narciso Ellande managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Litoral's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Ellande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Ebardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Metán's Alejo Ebardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Ellande in the 90th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
