After 14 minutes, Rodolfo Calixto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RAQUILCO and the Villarreal F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Narciso Teyo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Denis Torres. 15 minutes into the game, Rafael Iraunkor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RAQUILCO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villarreal F.C the free kick. The supporters of Villarreal F.C booed when RAQUILCO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Iraunkor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pascual Tohias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Teyo having to interfere. Pascual Tohias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Narciso Teyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascual Tohias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Narciso Teyo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Modesto Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Vistruario in the 32nd minute of play. If Cleto Arnau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casimiro Vistruario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Modesto Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casimiro Vistruario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Cutberto having to interfere. Narciso Teyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Matteo in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Casimiro Vistruario made the kick off in the second half. Danilo Matteo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Narciso Teyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villarreal F.C. Cleto Arnau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Cutberto having to interfere. If Casimiro Vistruario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Casimiro Vistruario came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the RAQUILCO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Vistruario couldn't finish the play. Narciso Teyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Ovando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Iraunkor kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, RAQUILCO's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Matteo came free, but Narciso Teyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Cleto Arnau notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Villarreal F.C's Modesto Cutberto. Modesto Cutberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Modesto Cutberto was a little too slow when Casimiro Vistruario got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Danilo Matteo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villarreal F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Matteo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Teyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. RAQUILCO's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
