Mariano Chaime came out of the goal and Pascual Tohias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Danilo Matteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute Benedicto Lidon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Villarreal F.C getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Basilio Berasko hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Celestino Vedillo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Modesto Cutberto, passed just outside the right post. Mariano Chaime showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Matteo in the 28th minute of the match. Mariano Chaime took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Tohias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Solingen Tandil FC's Mariano Chaime played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Tohias in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Solingen Tandil FC's zone, Danilo Matteo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Chaime came out of the goal and Danilo Matteo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Torres hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Leo Tolino was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Solingen Tandil FC's Benedicto Lidon got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villarreal F.C's goalkeeper Modesto Cutberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Villarreal F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Lidon came free, but Modesto Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celestino Vedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Cutberto having to interfere. Pascual Tohias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Benedicto Lidon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Solingen Tandil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 79th minute Danilo Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Chaime saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
