The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enzo Iban came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gutemberg FC's Alfredo Vermudo. But to his dismay, Alfredo Vermudo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hilario Gonzalez scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enzo Iban, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute, Alfredo Vermudo made a precise shot to the right of Enzo Iban. Assassins Clowns's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Nereo Abalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Rosalio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Gutemberg FC booed when Assassins Clowns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Iraunkor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enzo Iban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Vermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adan Cugat during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Assassins Clowns's Adan Cugat got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Jose Markel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Nereo Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Markel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Abalos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gutemberg FC's Fernan Fonda got a free kick in the 37th minute. Jose Markel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Nereo Abalos made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernan Fonda during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fernan Fonda kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gutemberg FC's zone, Jose Rosalio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Abalos came out of the goal and Jose Rosalio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Gutemberg FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Vermudo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Felipe Bembe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Alfredo Vermudo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gutemberg FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Julio Stephen put in a rough tackle. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gutemberg FC! The referee gave Assassins Clowns a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Guido Lluc, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gutemberg FC's Nereo Abalos. 1-4. Jose Rosalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nereo Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Assassins Clowns's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Hilario Gonzalez scored to the left of an out of position Enzo Iban, making the score, 1-5. 79 minutes into the match, Hilario Gonzalez notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Assassins Clowns's Enzo Iban. Enzo Iban was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 83 played minutes Assassins Clowns got a freekick which was hit by Jose Rosalio. If Hilario Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Rosalio scored 2-6 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nereo Abalos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Assassins Clowns supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gutemberg FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Gutemberg FC.
