Eliseo Polentzi ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 19 minutes, Valentin Benitez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OLIMPO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Benitez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iker Tartalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Palban, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 42nd minute Valentin Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Tartalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentin Benitez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christian Fariass short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Cirilo Sansone to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee ignored Cuchilla's protests and gave Aquilino Rexino a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cuchilla getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Aquilino Rexino hit a great ball. After 84 minutes, Valentin Benitez made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cuchilla's Iker Tartalo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Cuchilla booed when OLIMPO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Esdras didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95thth minute of the game Placido Jon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OLIMPO FC's Cirilo Sansone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cuchilla players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for OLIMPO FC.
