The supporters of Wilstermann booed when Coghlan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Gaizko didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Wilstermann's Omar Eguzki threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mauro Eusko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Inocencio Sayvion's late challenge caught a Wilstermann's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inocencio Sayvion helped the player get up and apologised. Inocencio Sayvion hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th play minute Gonzalo Felipillo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Omar Eguzki. 2-0. Gogo Eutropio's late challenge caught a Coghlan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gogo Eutropio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wilstermann's Gogo Eutropio got a free kick in the 18th minute. Jaime Peruanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Evelio Solustiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Peruanton in the 25th minute of play forced Wilstermann's goalkeeper Evelio Solustiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Wilstermann defense, Jaime Peruanton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evelio Solustiano. The Wilstermann fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evelio Solustiano should have stopped the shot. When Inocencio Sayvion came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Coghlan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocencio Sayvion couldn't finish the play. Evelio Solustiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Peruanton in the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Wilstermann's Mauro Eusko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omar Eguzki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Evelio Solustiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Claris in the 42nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Mauro Eusko took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Omar Eguzki to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jaime Peruanton made the kick off in the second half. The referee gave Wilstermann a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gabriel Benitez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Coghlan FC's Omar Eguzki. 4-1. Wilstermann's Evelio Solustiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Wilstermann from getting a goal against them. Rene Claris's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Evelio Solustiano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Segundo Fanuco hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Evelio Solustiano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jaime Peruanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Solustiano having to interfere. Inocencio Sayvion kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Jaime Peruanton came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Coghlan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Peruanton couldn't finish the play. Jaime Peruanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Wilstermann's Evelio Solustiano got control of the ball when Rene Claris tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardino Elodio kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Evelio Solustiano made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Rene Claris sent off a good shot on target. Mauro Eusko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Eguzki having to interfere. After having played for 98 minutes, Rene Claris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coghlan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Claris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Wilstermann support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
