Evelio Solustiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Honrio in the 3rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Luis Honrio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaví's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Honrio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Solustiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evelio Solustiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Eutor in the 9th minute of the match. 0-1 became the score in the 11th minute when Luis Honrio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Wilstermann's Evelio Solustiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Honrio in the 17th minute of play. Evelio Solustiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Guipuzkoa in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Wilstermann getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Segundo Fanuco hit a great ball. Gonzalo Felipillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Bernardo Jerano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Luis Honrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luis Honrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzalo Felipillo took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Jerano. Bernardo Jerano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 47 minutes of play, Yaví's Pablo Guipuzkoa made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evelio Solustiano was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauro Eusko was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Wilstermann was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Ikatz to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Benitez during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 57 minutes into the game, one of Wilstermann:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pascual Bitxintxo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Guipuzkoa got free with Evelio Solustiano in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Honrio in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evelio Solustiano saved Wilstermann from getting behind. In the 73rd minute Luis Honrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Solustiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pablo Guipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Wilstermann's Salvador Arotza got a free kick in the 79th minute. Evelio Solustiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Honrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Yaví's Luis Honrio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Evelio Solustiano. That made the score 1-4 after 85 minutes of play. Luis Honrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Evelio Solustiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Ambrosio Diagur from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Evelio Solustiano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Honrio in the 94th minute of play forced Wilstermann's goalkeeper Evelio Solustiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Wilstermann fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Yaví were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
