After a defensive mix-up in Vacaciones de Verano's zone, Severo Matei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Joachim came out of the goal and Severo Matei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conrado Prejun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Benedicto Joachim made a huge save. When Conrado Prejun came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Los Deigors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Prejun couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Zeledon Orlanda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Deigors's Carlos Firmin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Bartoli in the 55th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Matei in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedicto Joachim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dario Eron charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Eron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Vacaciones de Verano's Mateo Bartoli in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
