Benedicto Joachim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bernardo Jerano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino George, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Benedicto Joachim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Eulalio Eutor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yaví's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vacaciones de Verano the free kick. With a little luck, Vacaciones de Verano's Benedicto Joachim got control of the ball when Pablo Guipuzkoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yaví's Bernardo Jerano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino George in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino George in the 85th minute of play forced Yaví's goalkeeper Bernardo Jerano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Guipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Clemente Malvin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vacaciones de Verano's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Malvin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Jerano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
