Matias Loiola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Joachim having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mateo Bartoli made the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Joachim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Etor in the 52nd minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Vacaciones de Verano's Constantino George nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inocencio Tristan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 74 minutes into the game, Matias Loiola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Benedicto Joachim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd minute Matias Loiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Joachim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedicto Joachim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Etor, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Matias Loiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Joachim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
