When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Fernando Otoniel took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Albano Elazar to make any attempt to save it. Tadeo Rufo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tadeo Rufo came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Arbolito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Rufo couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, Arbolito AFC's Fernando Otoniel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albano Elazar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute Tadeo Rufo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Elazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeo Rufo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arbolito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Rufo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arbolito AFC's Baldomero Gaizkine was substituted for Tadeo Rufo. Fernando Otoniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baldomero Gaizkine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Albano Elazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Baldomero Calisto came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Arbolito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Calisto couldn't finish the play. If Baldomero Gaizkine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Resto took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albano Elazar. Albano Elazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Albano Elazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Gaizkine, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
