In the 16th minute Edgardo Rito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Jerano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Jerano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patricio Martino's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. If Luis Honrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ledesma's Edgardo Rito got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yaví's goalkeeper Bernardo Jerano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute of the match Conrado Astigar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Jerano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Yaví's Cleto Tancredo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Severiano Chorche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ledesma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yaví the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ledesma fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Primitivo Qwinton had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Pascual Bitxintxo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Yaví's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Martino came free, but Bernardo Jerano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Honrio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Patricio Martino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yaví's Bernardo Jerano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Ledesma's Luciano Dalmai got a free kick in the 56th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Ledesma's Patricio Martino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Jerano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pablo Guipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Qwinton having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Patricio Martino fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Patricio Martino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Jerano having to make a save. Pablo Guipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgardo Rito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Bernardo Jerano made a huge save. The supporters of Yaví booed when Ledesma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Telesforo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yaví's Pascual Bitxintxo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ledesma. Edgardo Rito struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Bernardo Jerano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ledesma. Patricio Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
